Craft Preppy A Preppy DIY -How to Make Paper Snowflake Ballerinas!

Hi Prepperinas!  I found this tutorial on how to make these Paper Ballerinas with Snowflake Tutus, and knew I just had to show it to you!  I got this idea from http://www.kidskubby.com/!  These would make really good Holiday Decorations especially for a Nutcracker Dressing room!

Materials
*Scissors*Paper Ballerina Template*Paper Snowflakes*Tape  Steps  1.   Cut out the Paper Ballerina Template with scissors, if you need a template here are some below.  With these templates I cut them a little differently so the shapes were a little less awkward!  It helps if you cut out one template and trace it onto whatever Paper you're using, Cardstock works best for the Ballerinas because it is stronger so when trying to string something through it or tie string around it's wrist it's a little bit easier!

Hi Prepperinas!  These are some pictures that I found and want to share with you!  The first 3 are of Decorated Pointe Shoes, which if you have never decorated a pair of old or dead Pointe Shoes it is so much fun and you definitely have to give it a try!  The last 2 are 2 absolutely gorgeous pictures of Dancers I found which will hopefully inspire you to Be A Better Dancer!  You can find these pictures at http://www.pinterest.com/evaballerine/ballerina-style/!

Sparkle is always a good thing!

The top three pictures I think are really cute ways to decorate or display your pointe shoes and the bottom two are gorgeous!  I hope these inspired you!

Eighth Preppy Haul -Preppy LOVES Ivivva!

Hi Prepperinas!  For those of you who don't know I am in absolute LOVE with Ivivva Athletica and have a ton of items from there!  Visit their website at www.ivivva.com.  Ivivva had a Pop Up Store at The Mall of America , opening Black Friday 2012 and closing May 26th, 2012.  That Pop-Up Store closed, and on October 18th, 2013 it reopened in the Mall of America at a different location. For those of you who know the Mall of America it is located in the South Avenue next to Vera Bradley and across from J. Crew.    Make sure to check out Ivivva MoA on Instagram @Ivivva_MallOfAmerica!  When this Ivivva Pop Up Store reopened as Permanent Store it became THE FIRST PERMANENT IVIVVA STORE IN THE UNITED STATES!  I spend A LOT of time there and I have to say that the sales associates there are so nice and very helpful!  I got three items that I want to show you all, two of which I got at their original opening, which I have to admit that I did wait outside for before the mall opened, and one that I got at their grand opening Premiere Party!

The First Item I got was the Race to the Finish Line Crop in Sunburst Social Tender Violet and Black.  I really like them!  They fit is similar to the Rhythmic Tight Crop however they have more seams going through them and side pockets with zippers as well.  Not to mention the cute addition of print!

  Price: $56

The second item I got was the Double Time Headband in Sunburst Social Tender Violet and Raspberry Glo Light.  This headband is really cute and although I don't have a picture of the actual headband, here is a picture of the style but with different colors!

  Price: $12

The third item I got was the Perfect Your Practice Jacket in Black.  I got this jacket because it's meant to have a tight fit like the Lululemon Define Jack which I have in Pow Pink and absolutely adore!  This jacket is loose on me but that's okay because it is much tighter than most of the Ivivva jackets which are sometimes kind of boxy!

  Price: $78
Those were the three items I got!  As I said before if you haven't checked out Ivivva yet it's definitely worth a look!

Craft Preppy A Preppy DIY -How to Make Lilly Pulitzer Print Pencils!

Hi Prepperinas!  If you've seen my last two posts you would know I'm getting ready to go back to school!  I figured out a really easy way to make Lilly Pulitzer Print Pencils that are super cute and hard to loose!  I did them in prints that match my Binder Covers!

        Supplies
  •  Tacky Glue
  • Scissors
  • Printouts of whatever Lilly Pulitzer Prints you decide to use
  • Mechanical Pencils
  • A Paper Cutter

   Directions

  1.  Use your paper cutter to cut a small strip out of one of the Lilly Pulitzer Prints.  Put a small dot of Tacky Glue on it and spread it around with your finger.

  2.  Slide the paper under the clip of the Mechanical Pencil glue side facing up.  Slide it under enough so the right side of the paper evenly folds over the top of the clip.  Press this down.

  3.  Continue wrapping the left side of the paper over the clip until it covers the top of the clip.  Press this down and use your scissors to cut off the excess paper.  Press down the edge.

  4.  Repeat these steps with your other patterns and the rest of you pencils and then you have a super cute set of Lilly Pulitzer Pencils!

These pencils are so cute and hard to loose!  Hope you like them!

Preppy's Getting Ready for School! How I Organize My Binder!

Hi Prepperinas!  If you saw my previous post you would know that I made a set of Lilly Pulitzer Binder Covers for school!  Here is how I organize my binder using these binder covers!

Here is the Cover of my Binder!

That's not organization but it is really cute and my Binder won't get lost because my name's on the cover!

I organized my binder in the order of my classes.  Whatever class I have first, goes first.  In this case, it's Science.

Every class has a binder cover in a binder paper protector, followed by a folder, and some loose leaf.

My next class in Language Arts.  The folder helps keep worksheets and handouts organized and not interfering with my notes!

  After that comes Social Studies!

  Last is Math!

That's how I organize my Binder!  You can also use these binder covers as covers to notebooks or folders!

These binder covers are all downloadable here.

Sperry Top-sider  Women's Angelfish Slip-On Boat Shoe.

These shoes are SO CUTE and really comfortable!  These shoes have padded arch support and a padded heel cushion which makes them really good for walking around.

The Rose, Lavender, and Ivory are very cute together!  They definitely match a lot of the colors I usually wear like my Authentic Originals in Platinum.  The inside sole and bottom of the shoe are both Bright Pink which is a really cute feature!

Like my Authentic Originals I absolutely LOVED these shoes!  Check out Sperry Top-Sider at www.sperrytopsider.com!
